The Commission has published a report on May4th 2026 on the simplification of the revised EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) including the new draft for a delegated act to modify the scope of the EUDR. The proposed change of Annex I is in line with BIPAVER's demand to exclude retreaded and used tyres, which would ban the mayor risk for the retreading industry.

The draft foresees the following amendment:

(u) the entry ‘ex 4012 Retreaded or used pneumatic tyres of rubber; solid or cushion tyres, tyre treads and tyre flaps, of rubber’
is replaced by the following:
‘ex 4012 90 30 Tyre treads’;
