On October 22, the European Commission (EC) has published the final implementation of anti-dumping measures against Chinese TBR imports. The measures consist of fixed import duties per tyre. The applied duties range from
€ 42,73 to € 61,76 per tyre, depending on the manufacturer.
The regulation (EU) 2018/1579 containing and motivating the measures can be downloaded in different languages on Eur-Lex.
The measures will be applied starting October 23 and will replace with immediate effect the so far installed provisional measures. The EC investigation leading to the measures shows that dumping has caused severe damage to the independent retreading industry in Europe. BIPAVER trusts that the measures will contribute to a more fair and circular TBR market.
