The National Guild of Automotive Technology is the professional organization, representing the interests of all operating vehicle technicians, body shop technicians and the independent retreading and repair industry in Austria.

Representing (as an employers’ organisation) approximately 7,220 businesses, mostly small and medium-sized businesses with 49,000 employees including 9,258 apprentices.

The National Guild is the contact for members towards authorities, other industries and the social partners. Likewise, the collective labour agreements are negotiated with the relevant unions, support in the development of training manuals, master examinations, qualifications, job descriptions and other technical regulations and legislation. The network includes various national and international technical standards committees, as well as contacts with national and European legislators. We also maintain the relationship with the corresponding foreign industry representatives.

The membership of the Federal Guild of Vehicle Technology at BIPAVER gives us the opportunity at international level to represent the interests of the retreading and repair companies in Austria.
